    Well, some immigrants come illegally via airplane, but the vast, vast majority of "illegal immigrants" enter the country legally and simply overstay their visa.

    Dunno, Obama was good. Don't think he resonated quite as well as Michelle or Biden. Still an effective and dramatic moment. (But would argue the hug was a bit of overkill that may hamper HRC now that the general is officially underway.)

    Why would the hug hamper HRC? Are you suggesting that literally embracing Obama is a drag, but merely having him at the convention isn't?

    If so, I think that's just silly on its face. And anyway, this isn't 2008, when Bush had an approval rating of 25%. Barack Obama's approval rating is double that.

    He's a great pick. Look at that resume

    They did, people seem to be kind of indifferent about Kaine, which i dont really get. Could easily pass as a republican.

    She hasn't passed many bills so if that's the measuring stick then no. She is one of the most active/persistent members of the senate though. She's got a unique influence in the senate and even outside of it now that she's become one of the most popular politicians in the country. She's done a lot of good work on the Senate Banking Committee. That's probably where she's been most successful as senator.
