How is a link of a speech (one I watched btw) where Trump repeats "law and order" numerous times while mentioning the blacks killed a side case a refutation of my statement. Imagine Trump actually trying to reform the police system lol

He's condemning the killing of both Dallas police officers and Sterling/Castle (referring to the latter as "senseless"), while demonizing the current racial division of the nation.

I don't support him, but what makes you think his stance towards police brutality will affect black people?

    Not biased bs pls.

neither hillary or trump would be "good" for black people necessarily. they both have records of oppressing them.

Since Trump has a big shot to win the elections, I was curious to see how his current rhetoric could affect the lives of black people, so I can get different perspectives of the conflict and a clearer vision of his policies.

"Well, his priorities were pretty clear, so sit down!"
    "you're naive lol"

    Got it.

You posted a link that summarizes Trump's speech about the police issue. I said he referred to "law and order" repeatedly while mentioning the blacks killed by police as a side case, making his priority of supporting the police clear. If you actually watched the full speech, you would know this. So I say this again, sit down.

The order of his priorities in this particular speech are irrelevant. His statement was loud and clear.

I understand the concern, but I'm trying to play this fair. Quote something from him that makes you believe his current stance towards police brutality will affect black people.

    Or that's just your "impression"?

Why would his priorities not be significant? From the context of his full speech, it's obvious police brutality is not an important issue to him. Him mentioning the blacks killed by cops a few times does not negate the main points of "law and order" in the full speech. If you don't think having a president who dismisses racism in the police system will affect blacks, it just points to your ignorance.

Also, stop trying to be "fair". You're just making yourself look stupid.

From what I've seen, Trump has been entirely silent on institutional racism. He hasn't muttered a word about the disproportionate killings of African-Americans which makes sense considering the demographics of his voter base. With that being said, @reD10S is right in regards to his priorities. He doesn't care about black peoples struggles. He'll condemn a few isolated incidents here and there to make it look like he's being fair but his overall message has been "we need to respect law enforcement more." That tells you all you need to know about where he stands on this social issue.
