Obama has been alright. Nothing incredible but nothing offense. Better than Bill was.

Gotta call out Barry O Bomber on immigration though. He said it's at a low point for the decade, I'm paraphrasing. Obama pissed me off with this. Illegal immigration is something that lingers on, it's not something that's reflected in the numbers that come in every year. It's a compounding problem. It's a half truth at best and a lie at worst.

The point of the post was, illegal immigrants don't cross over the border and evaporate, just because the numbers coming in are lower, doesn't mean the illegal immigrants already in the country disappear. It's misleading.

Booker and Warren were meh. Booker's speech was well-written but way to long and the execution was average. Warren just isn't very a good speaker and her entire speech strangely focused on Trump instead of Clinton.

couldn't disagree more. Last night was the best night of either convention. I can say that without even watching tonight, I think

Barack > Michelle > Biden > Bill

Sanders, Warren, and Booker were all fine but not particularly memorable.

I have to admit, after that semi-inept first day, Tuesday and Wednesday went about as well as they could have. I was wrong about the roll call: it ended up being a great, cathartic thing that palpably united the room. Bill's speech did exactly what it needed to do; this focus on 9/11 competency and sophisticated strength on foreign affairs landed really well. The "mothers of the movement" thing was tremendous. All the headliners have killed so far, except for Kaine.

I thought the roll call was a mistake as well but Bernie ended it on such a high note. It was actually pretty cool to see in the end.

Barack was so good that I have to say Wednesday was better than Monday, but I enjoyed Tuesday the most. Probably splitting hairs.

It is insane to me to these last two weeks can be so different...apples and orange.

@Lamont, he wasn't my first, second or even third choice but I was honestly okay with any of the rumored individuals. I don't believe there was anyone that I said "anyone but him/her!" Strategically, I think it is a very good pick. With Trump on the other side, she already has the black, latino and women vote locked up. The only concern is rallying the base to show up in November. All of the candidates that were not selected will campaign for her avidly, even Bernie.

Yeah, i talked to you about this already. I dont think strategically its a good pick. it reaffirms that hillary is a moderate. I was looking beyond the demographics - which most certainly favor her. There are just a few problematic things about tim kaine - like his support for TPP.

New leaks show that DNC staffer used a racial term "Taco Bowl" referring to Latino voters...

I know I say some racist s--- sometimes... but it shows that even the DNC be saying s--- at times.

I was a big Bernie supporter... after Obama's speech... I was like f--- he makes a good point...

But I dont know what I'm gonna do... I like like Hilary, but I hate Trump...

I just want this country to live up to its true meaning. We need to be better than these corrupt politician man.

I agree she is a moderate when we talk about the political landscape today. I'm okay with TPP but perhaps I don't know enough about it. Globalization is inevitable.

Kaine supporting TPP and Hillary being a moderate is a bad thing for you? I thought you leaned right?
