okay so it's not the greatest but this is what i ended up coming up with. the main thing I'd change about it is the logo placement, but it is what it is for now. also, please pardon some of the blurriness. just happened with some rescaling. Warning, lots of pics.
so here is the "home page" of the forum through the app. at the top, like online, you have the main topic/header. in this case, it's kanye changing his album name. everything scrolls except for the logo and the footer bar, which contains the search, inbox, leaks, alerts, and donate buttons. you'll notice each section has a "hide" button. this would make it easier to scroll through certain sections. for example, someone who never posts in the "SXN80" portion can hit hide, and all topics underneath "SXN80" would be hidden.
this is an example of the hide/show button.. in this picture, I've hidden the "SXN80" section. it can be brought back simply by clicking [Show]
if you swipe towards your left, you can access the "Latest Posts" and "Hottest Threads". I've only put a few posts in for the example.
if you swipe towards your right, you can access your member "page". this has your "day/night" options for the view of the forum, your avatar, # of posts, # of likes, # of referrals, # of points, etc. this is where you can do account setup stuff like changing your password, avatar, etc. you can also see who you're following and who's following you. scroll down to the very bottom to log out or hide that you're online.
when you get a notification, a little blurb just appears above the "alerts" button. this can show up in one of two ways (depending on how the app devs would want it/how the user has set their settings). it would show the entire statement (so and so has liked your post in this thread) or the person's avatar (the person who liked/mentioned/reposted).
and here's the leak mod. the leak button is in the middle at the fixed footer. hitting it will bring up this tab where you can do basically everything you'd do on a computer.
so yeah hopefully you like them. they're kind of messy but I'm not that great at making these kinds of things lolLast edited: May 6, 2015Loyalty, sxneighty123, VMO2 and 2 others like this. -

Honestly the mobile site looks great, so I based mine a lot off that.
Here's a quick mockup of an idea I had. If you're interested at all I can make jpgs of other screens. The top nav bar would be fixed.
Here's a link to the full thing:

Feels too separate from SXN80 though, designwise but it's still dope afOrdinary Joel, VMO2, pluto✰ and 1 other person like this. -

The page numbers don't need to be on the screenshoth #3 but would be better placed inside the actual thread after a user taps a row to be taken in. Default action would take the user to final page and the final post upon tap.
Search icon should probably always be visible on top right of the navigation bar to make it easier for users to find what they want with minimal taps.
Left sliding view is a definite and is the one I had in mind already.
Nice work initially thoughOrdinary Joel, Jordan, sxneighty123 and 1 other person like this. -

@coldkick Might I suggest replacing the search icon with the alerts icon, so the user only has to click once to access alerts, instead of having to click their profile and then alerts? I figure people check their alerts a lot more than they use search.Ordinary Joel, 6ixgawd, VMO2 and 1 other person like this. -

White circle doesn't seem too thick to me, remember it will scale depending on the device's DPIGerald, VMO2, Loyalty and 1 other person like this.
