    honestly I think season 1 is kinda overrated and season 3 is the weakest of the first 4. Season 4 and 2 are the best of the show. This season I think is better than 1 and 3. Like if you really start thinking about Brian's overall plan in season 1, it's kinda ridiculous and I've always thought so. Even though it's super entertaining and a great intro into the show. But some of what you say is probably true, though. We'll see how the finale is.

    The showrunner said the same :

    So much has been said about the series’ original finale, but how do you think fans are going to react to New Blood‘s ending?
    It’s going to be surprising, inevitable and it’s going to blow up the Internet. It is, I personally think, the best thing I’ve written. Our director Marcos Siega, who could not be more experienced and a better friend of the show, thinks it’s the best thing he’s ever directed. I haven’t seen it yet, by the way. I only saw it get shot. We’re editing Episodes 7 and 8 right now, so I haven’t seen 10 yet. I can’t wait, to tell you the truth.

    Wow…. That was some of the best TV I’ve ever watched. New Blood has to be the greatest revival of any TV show In history. Gutted there is only one episode left but also happy because it’s heading for a fitting finale and ending.

    As much as I've liked this season, I don't want a 2nd season. If they do that then they're just pushing it for money and we'll end up with s--- like before. Just give us a good ending and some closure

    I remember @Worm and I watched the entire series week to week back in the day (on another forum). And we kept hoping it'd get good again. Don't do that to yourself. Read a synopsis from seasons 5-8 and then watch the new season. It's better this way.

    Julia Jones who plays the chief had a pic up a few weeks ago of her with Bautista and Laguerta but looks like it was taken down. Good episode though

    Surprised how much I enjoyed this episode and new take of Dexter. Hopefully continues like this and redeems it’s self as a great series. Hopefully never ever think about the last season or finale ever again.

    Bruh this episode made me so f---ing happy. I was a fan since the show premiered, and witnessed the downfall of seasons 5-8....

    Yeah I remember reading that. That would have been a great ending. Also the actress who plays Hannah confirmed she won't be in it which I'm okay with. Like most shows the family aspect always got in the way of the story line so I'm ok if there's no Harrison.

    Also if there is a Harrison story line added I hope he's not a serial killer cause that would be really corny
