May 26, 2017 In the meantime. Here's my top three reasons why Superbad is a good movie. 1. McLovin... That gag may not work but it's f---ing iconic; just look at the f---ing picture, who the f--- is going to believe that? 2. The cinematogrophy and themes. Everything about it is coming to age and trying to find ones self. Throughout the movie we see these characters grow before their eyes and it is amazing. Plus who doesn't love 70s nostalgia. 3. The jokes. Everything is absurdist and stupid and it somehow works. Plus with Michael Cera being the straight man, everything just comes together like cream. Discuss.
