I liked most of the songs here, but didn't love every song if that makes sense. Only one skip, being the track "Live For" with Drake. Drake's part was cool, but Abel's part did not click for me like it usually does. Maybe it's a grower track. This is the weakest project for me from Abel so far, but honestly I could see that changing upon relistens. Hey, if your worst album so far (or maybe overall) is a 7.5, you got a d--- good discog.

Echoes Of Silence - The Weeknd

Score: 9.5

Holy s---, one of the greatest projects I have ever heard. Every track is f---ing fantastic and had me making multiple stank faces throughout. D.D., I had to make sure he didn't sample MJ's vocals because he sounds JUST LIKE HIM on this track, especially the beginning. Amazing rendition of Dirty Diana. The reason I give it a 9.5 instead of a 10 is because I feel that the last few tracks are not as strong as the first batch of songs, but they are still amazing. Wow.

Thursday - The Weeknd

Score: 8.0

I was skeptical going into this project because it's the middle child of the trilogy and nobody talks about it much, being sandwiched between House Of Balloons and Echoes Of Silence. However, I thought it was pretty good! It could have been as great as HOB had some songs been cut shorter, such as Gone.

My score for this album has gone up since we listened to it on AOTWClub, mainly because I like every track now, where previously I was not huge on The Knowing. Great mixtape to start a legendary career.

I agree tho. I was struggling to invent a new flow, while dealing with Benzino. I been hit these hoes with the coup de grace. So I kept paving the road with gravel. Took a shovel to Michael, I show no remorse. Still on my high horse, and Encore still sold 5 Million albums. So the bad apple spoiled J.Cole. He told me so, grew up listening to Just Lose it on the radio. And MockingBird went Viral, and so did RainMan on ticktock b----. And The comments say I’m old, but who got the Golden Globe? 8 Mile, Yellow Brick Road, Runyon Avenue Soldiers call it home, sing the chorus to my 1st Single and it goes..

A perfect album! From the first day I heard it… I mean wrote it. I knew I was gonna be the best selling poet, and most acclaimed white rapper ever to spit s---. My controversy shaped Y2K era pop culture b----, I was like the Beatles for the Suburbs kids. I made records go platinum, I wasn’t just Eminem, I was a Star that burst. With every slur I filled up my purse. My baggage was getting worse. That’s why I started popping percs and stealing Valium from the nurse. Made Stan, even the dictionary had to admit it.
The real Slim still won’t sit, so many veterans worship now. Ask Kendrick, Big Sean, and even Logic how. I Even made a sequel when hopsin was in college, I’m friends with the Monster inside of my pocket. I’ll still prick a leather wallet. And as I pick up the last LP Vinyl, I realize I’m so proud. Death of a Party Girl - TV Girl

Score: 50

Yeah this is not great lol. Only reason it does not get a lower score is because I like the instrumentals. This album was just boring, and even the songs I did like, I didn't enjoy as much as other songs I have liked from TV Girl. Standout is Blue Hair.
