Mar 2, 2017 A free market approach regarding discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, etc. in businesses is a lot different from dictatorial government focused state laws like what Jim Crow was in the 20th century. The purpose of the former is to avoid federal spending to precisely improve the current living conditions and indirectly force a forthright market friendly standard for new establishments. The owners of those places who'd refuse to serve to gay people would eventually have to adapt to the model that'd logically allow them to gain the most amount of money, all without the need of forcing government intervention down their throats.
