    Nah man, not even addressing his videos that man gave us Being John Malkovich, Her, WTWTA (one of the best childrens book adaptions period), A load of short films and skating videos, and ofc the Jackass series

    It's from over 30 years ago... at least 7 years before 4,3,2,1 and It's dark....


    He could have smoked 3 packs a day and hard drugs in that time.

    Everlast's voice changed dramatically between when he was in Ice T's Rhyme Syndicate and The House of Pain over the course of a year or two... then again when he went solo 5 years later... and kept changing to now when I listen to him sing it hurts my throat in sympathy pains. Basically the same trajectory as DMX if that's his song from the late 80's early 90's (I believe it is).

    Skinhead Rob from Transplants yelled and screamed all his verses on their first album... then basically got quieter and more whispery on every subsequent album.

    Plus, he killed it in "3 Kings" as an actor and Francis Ford Coppola hated that he married his daughter because he rode his dirt bikes in their vineyard and embarrassed him in front of his well-to-do rich loser friends.

    After a couple of days to grieve this isn't any easier to deal with.

    I'm getting pissed off with the Mrs as well because all I hear from her is "oh, you're still moping about him? It's his own fault" a d "he's just a rapper, you didn't know him personally". Thanks for the support...

    It's been mentioned here already but the best thing about all.of this is the huge amount of love he's getting. Nothing negative is being talked about, just his influence on music. Love.

    And on a slightly different note, on Friday evening DMX was trending number 1 in the UK on Twitter whereas Prince Philip (the Queen's husband, who died the same day) was number 2. Not saying anything bad about Prince Philip but I obviously relate more to DMX's death and it appears that's the same for the whole country.
