    From what I've read, it doesn't look good. I wish American health care weren't absolutely garbage so him and people in his situation could actually get effective assistance.

    Substance abuse is a b----, I don't even feel relaxed while drinking my beer rn, cause it's a substance too. I think I call it quits.

    Pay close attention to Jason Mewes in this scene. Different drug addiction side-effect, I know. But a spoon full of sugar has never been so profoundly symbolic in so many ramified ways, figuratively and metaphorically. This comment is so friggin' dark to me. Jeeze, man. Maybe the darkest one. Tone it down a bit, maybe? Lol.

    I was drawing a contrast between Marie-Antoinette's not understanding the plight of her people not being able to afford food to the same trend in the US and not being able to afford healthcare, if that wasn't clear.

    Crazy how sometimes it takes something tragic for people to start caring about an artist's work.

    The flip on this is younger kids getting into his music now that he's trending again even if it is for a horrible reason. Hopefully his legacy comes to light more often now, there's been very few debuts as good as his and only a handful of runs to match him.

    I recognize the derivation of the proverbial phrase. Even then, it's tough when you apply it here. Even though it fits. So I must acquit. I'm no dignified judge of character, anyhow. This just sucks, all around. Not ready for this. I don't think I'll ever be ready for it. Prince being gone still sucks. Robin Williams, too. Ew. The Placebic Postponement Theory is kind-of the fundamental reason the medical industry still thrives off the ubiquitous belief that , if you patch it up enough with gauze and bandages, you shouldn't need stitching to hold a disintegrating organ together.

    There’s a lot of truth there. Me personally, I was more of an X fan early on in his career. Not so much his later work. But even so, when things like this happen, people do get nostalgic and my favorite X moment was that first album. It was part of a larger moment for NY Hip Hop but X played a major part.
