Jun 28, 2016 the main issue with all of this is that far left fringe organisations and the media that feeds into this identity politics have genuinely set themselves up as the next black power/civil rights frontier and that stopping trump is somehow absolutely integral to it (hence they believe that the ends somehow justify the means in this case because of militant activism in the past). it also feeds into the whole "all trump/right wing supporters = racists oppressing them" view of identity politics meaning that people who are just going to see him talk are viewed as monsters unworthy of debate and somehow part of the problem
Jun 28, 2016 I'm not even that smart. I just don't support Donald Trump. I do think it's interesting how victimized/butthurt conservatives get when they're rightly shamed for their archaic beliefs.
