I have before, but music is the soundtrack to my commute nowadays. It's habit at this point.

Great thread, honestly its d--- near impossible for me not to have either my headphones on or playing something in the car...

What I did go on for long stretches in recent times is not listen to new music on the dot like I used to. Usually too caught up with work (school to an extent) or other s---. I think I went months without hearing Kodak's Tunnel Vision for example lol.

Yes but mostly for a stupid reason

Right now when I turn on the radio and I hear some spanish or other summer-ish songs it reminds me of the fact that I'm back home and returning after a vacation always makes me depressed for a few days lmao

I regularly go through spells like these, especially over the past couple years, and it's saddening when it happens.

Occasionally I'll have short phases where I'm tired of all my music and can't be f----- to find anything new and then I'll binge a bunch of podcasts for two weeks then switch back to music.

yeah this is pretty much me. I can even recall times where i'd play something new i rly like, a lot, then go to bed like "fk ye get to hear it tomorrow" wake up the next day with absolutely no care to listen to it.

The first time I can remember not wanting to listen to music was this year. It only lasted about 2-3 days but it was soooo weird. I think it was a mixture of depression and lack of "good new music". Now I got new Vince, jay Z, and JL to bump so life's all good again.
