May 10, 2018 That's not for anyone to decide lmao I listen to rap music, I like it, and I'm fine w political messages in the music. I just mean that I hate it when music discussion turns into the same s-----y political bs on forums for example
May 10, 2018 Rap is inherently political because of the environment and circumstances it was born out of, it's gonna be entwined with it for as long as it exists. Just going to get more prevalent as time goes on.
May 10, 2018 ik, I'm saying with a genre as inherently political as this, it's naturally gonna come up in discussion
May 10, 2018 Tony Yayo's Thoughts Of A Predicate Felon is a near classic. TPAB was a horrible album. MMMP2 was the worst album I've ever heard. Go Legend is the best rap song since 2015.
May 10, 2018 seans voice got a bit more tolerable after finally famous. quavo got the voice of a special ed student
May 10, 2018 I don't care about Trump's personality or how many p--- stars he's had affairs with, I care about issues like immigration. What does this have to do with hip hop? I don't literally stan Eminem in the sense that I uncritically like everything he's ever done, since I think he sucks and has s----d for going on 15 years now. I stan him in this sense: Except without buckling to peer pressure by prefacing this opinion by saying boring, monotone Jay Z is the GOAT. Most posters who are honest and aren't haters would be hard pressed to name one artist who could objectively hold a candle to 2001 Eminem at any point in their career, yet few who aren't unabashed fans would be willing to admit that openly, at least not without qualifying it in some way. Not sure what you're trying to say here. I like Eminem because he is/was talented, not because he's white. And I voted for Trump not because he's white, but because he stressed the most important issue facing the country right now, immigration.
May 10, 2018 I don't mind it as long as it's delivered well like on Compton or something. But a rap album of that caliber comes around only once in a blue moon imo. I gave up on hip hop.
May 10, 2018 Took acid and listened to Pink Floyd once - now is a pretentious connoisseur of music... yet an Eminem stan apparently.
