    it's getting majorly reworked in 2.5/3.0 whatever we end up calling it

    this current version of the portal got out grown when 2.0 took steam, the portal was the first thing we designed when 2.0 went in to development

    oh s--- its kinda cool lol i remember i clicked on it like when it first got implemented and havent since

    idk tho there's too much going on there for me and it doesnt look that appealing imo

    ..f---ing serious. how do you visit a site multiple times every day and not even click on one of the top 4 links? haven't you even been curious what the h--- that mysterious link was all this time?

    lol this frustrates me more than it probably should. i just don't get how that happens. makes me question continuing to put effort into building the site when even the most obvious things will go unnoticed by some of our most prevalent members. this on the same level as if Apple implemented facetime, and nobody was ever even curious enough to click on the icon on their homescreen. my head's on my desk rn.

    Facetime is self explanatory though. Portal on the otherhand, who knows where that would take me.

    All jokes aside I like navigating the site normally. I like to see all the SXNs instead of just what's recently being posted.

    I've messed around in the portal recently and I like it. Old habits are hard to break though.

    nah man i 100% get your frustration but i dont think the analogy works.

    i definitely did click on it when you guys first implemented it, but speaking as someone who uses this site more than most...you get stuck in your ways. im not trying to discredit your work or anything but my first impression was that it presented nothing new worth caring about. or, at least, nothing useful enough for me to switch how I already function. So I didn't. and then i forgot about it.

    some times ideas fail man :jordan:

    i think you're the only one of who i quoted who ended up following-up their post with saying that they actually did visit it at one point. so, i understand that explanation works for you, and not everything ends up working or is for everyone, but my comment was moreso directed to people who said they've literally never clicked it or knew it existed.

    Doesn't look like it. I 100% have it ignored on Latest Posts but when I enter the portal I can see ppl posting in the "is a new Em album confirmed' thread under quick forum & live activity.

    is the same true for if you went to the home page and clicked the "Activity" button (next to "Forums" button) ?
