From what I'm gathering, Pfizer is given a quicker turnaround between first and second dose. AstraZeneca so far has been given the longer waiting period which is annoying personally but is what it is.

Hmm, interesting. I'm quite acutely aware of my health triggers so if there's weird side effects of this one I should know.

It's been about 10 hours since the jab now and I can feel a slightly tenseness in the injection spot but so far that's it. Guess we'll see in the morning though. Hope I'm ok as it's my birthday celebrations tomorrow!

becoming increasingly likely that these rare blood clots are linked to other medications such as birth control or estrogen therapy. No cases among men yet which may change but that’s still significant.

I guess "quirks" is a nice word for blood clots/unknown.side effects... similar issue with astrazeneca as well. I believe a few EU countries have paused using that also. When I received my shots it comes with a pamphlet that specifically lays out it's experimental and there may be uncommon adverse side effects. I'm pretty sure legally you wouldn't be able to mandate people take it either

If you think masks caused problems.....how do you think people would react if they are forced to get a vaccine? Half of the country would be on fire.

Everyone is fine with forcing people to do something, until they are the ones being forced to do something they don’t want to do.

And no, I am NOT anti-vaccine. But I see why some people have concerns.

Ah I see what you mean. Public schools was a good example.

Yeah eventually I feel it will be mandated anyways, especially in my line of work. Might as well take advantage of it while there are incentives to do it now.

They’ll still transmit but yes this will *eventually* be the case but our vaccine rollout is majorly AstraZeneca with a low efficacy rate & we’re easing lockdown before more than 10% of the population has been fully vaccinated, therefore a 3rd wave of infection is inevitable. We’re talking short term here, it isn’t misleading.

This is misleading. Everyone who is properly vaccinated will either no longer be able to get and transmit the virus or their symptoms will be much less and not require hospitalization for at least 6 months (depending on which shot you get. Moderna and Pfizer you're basically protected for at least 6 months with a 94% efficacy)

They are normalising lockdowns. We've already had 2 major ones in England, and another few rebranded and disguised as" tier systems".

I've no doubt they plan to lock us down again in the fall, once seasonal respiratory diseases arise again.

    The lockdowns need to stop.

I think we’ve become so numb to the deaths that he’s taking the honest route now. It’s not really a case of not knowing what he’s doing, more the fact he just doesn’t care. Tories are in it to benefit each other, it’s a Kleptocracy.

Seems like we’ve got to the point of psychopathy where you can just announce policy that systematically murders people, admittedly, and face no consequence. What does that tell you about our society?
