Apr 11, 2021 nah I'm pro vaccine and have had both of my shots, but you can't legally mandate everyone get this as much as I want to reopen.
Apr 11, 2021 Vaccine passports are coming though so a lot of you are gonna have no choice. If you wanna travel or even go to work.
Apr 11, 2021 I will take it though but forcing people to take it, nah. Having consequences if u dont is another story.
Apr 11, 2021 when I say “mandate” I’m not saying put guns to people’s heads & physically force them to get vaccinated. I’m saying restrict certain activities to incentivize them to get vaccinated. I have a lot of friends who aren’t opposed to vaccines at all but are young/healthy & don’t think it’s necessary. However, if their employers said, “you need to go get vaccinated” best believe they would go get vaccinated. That’s what needs to happen.
Apr 11, 2021 Oh yeah I believe in things such as 'u need a vaccine to go to huge events' or smt like that. Or on vacation. In a way its not that different but its still a choice.
Apr 11, 2021 Yeah, that’s why I’m hoping the federal & state governments start mandating their employees get vaccinated. Also, college students + K-12 students in public schools once it’s clear that it’s safe for them to be vaccinated.
Apr 11, 2021 Got my second shot today. Soreness was not bad the second time around, but man I felt like I had an outer body experience with the extreme chills I had throughout my body.
Apr 11, 2021 Now theirs reports of a new variant that’s twice as deadly that could throw vaccine plans into meltdown. https://www.kentlive.news/news/kent-news/new-nigerian-covid-strain-thats-5283063.amp
Apr 11, 2021 Yeah I always get nervous when I think of a joke and see Worm already posted. Hes beats me too many times.
Apr 11, 2021 I’m not sure if it’s possible but incentivizing businesses monetarily to mandate vaccinations would be a good idea. For instance, a tax break for businesses that mandate their workforce get vaccinated would be a good idea to consider imo. As for vaccine passports: good idea but would be difficult have in practice. I have doubts that this will actually transpire in reality. Making it easier for vaccinated people to travel vs having to get tested if you’re unvaccinated is a good idea though!
Apr 11, 2021 Had my first shot last Wednesday. Felt like s--- the next few days but okay now. Arm still bruised. Did lol when my government a day after my first shot said that for all citizens under 50 they're now saying don't get AstraZeneca coz it's been linked to bloodclots...
Apr 12, 2021 Got my 2nd shot of the pfeizer vaccine less than an hour ago, no symptoms yet but they made it sound like there's a good chance i feel sick for a bit..I was fine after the 1st shot so hoping for the best here. Still amazed at how many aren't getting it though, not sure how this s---'s ever gonna end with so many against it. I know some don't like when others are overly preachy about it or whatever, but it really is incredibly easy and the solution to end all this.
Apr 13, 2021 Headline: Lockdown is main reason for drop in Coronavirus cases and deaths - not vaccinations, says Boris Johnson. https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19...-not-vaccinations-says-boris-johnson-12274266 "But it is very, very important for everybody to understand that the reduction in these numbers - in hospitalisations and in deaths and infections - has not been achieved by the vaccination programme. "People don't, I think, appreciate that it's the lockdown that has been overwhelmingly important in delivering this improvement in the pandemic and in the figures that we're seeing. "And so, yes of course the vaccination programme has helped, but the B*** of the work in reducing the disease has been done by the lockdown. "So, as we unlock, the result will inevitably be that we will see more infection, sadly we will see more hospitalisation and deaths, and people have just got to understand that." Believe me yet?
