Apr 13, 2021 Boris doesn’t have a clue as to what he’s doing mate. At this point, should we even listen to him?
Apr 13, 2021 I think we’ve become so numb to the deaths that he’s taking the honest route now. It’s not really a case of not knowing what he’s doing, more the fact he just doesn’t care. Tories are in it to benefit each other, it’s a Kleptocracy. Seems like we’ve got to the point of psychopathy where you can just announce policy that systematically murders people, admittedly, and face no consequence. What does that tell you about our society?
Apr 13, 2021 They are normalising lockdowns. We've already had 2 major ones in England, and another few rebranded and disguised as" tier systems". I've no doubt they plan to lock us down again in the fall, once seasonal respiratory diseases arise again. The lockdowns need to stop.
Apr 13, 2021 CDC & FDA recommending a precautionary pause in the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after 6 cases (out of 6.8 million doses) of rare blood clots. People are going to flip out over this but this is the kind of action that ought to make people trust these entities. They take vaccine safety extremely seriously—even in precaution.
Apr 13, 2021 This is misleading. Everyone who is properly vaccinated will either no longer be able to get and transmit the virus or their symptoms will be much less and not require hospitalization for at least 6 months (depending on which shot you get. Moderna and Pfizer you're basically protected for at least 6 months with a 94% efficacy)
Apr 13, 2021 Alright forget me saying I had no side effects, this 2nd shot is kicking my a---. It was a rough night and today will probably s--- too, hopefully back to normal tomorrow.
Apr 13, 2021 There are businesses out there that have incentives for their employees to get the vaccine. I think I saw one for Best Buy and somewhere else. I don't incentives work off mandates though, volunteering is the whole point of incentives.
Apr 13, 2021 What side effects you get? I was fatigued and had crazy chills. Only last a day or so though.
Apr 13, 2021 Care to elaborate? Based off of how successful countries have been in practicing 0-Covid with less lockdown & economic disruption overall than lousy half lockdowns most neoliberal countries like the UK have practiced, inheriting nothing but a revolving cycle of reinfection, mass deaths & social dissatisfaction like you’re projecting now.
Apr 13, 2021 Yeah I got really fatigued, no energy to do anything once it hit. Also feel nauseous and have a huge headache. Feels like I have a fever too although I haven’t checked.
Apr 13, 2021 Ppl will look back at these threads...posts...worldwide..and mark ppl who said no to vaccines as the lowest form of dumb MFers to breathe even at its most simple basic rule..you are a moron at statistics and cant outweigh s--- you are a moron
Apr 13, 2021 They’ll still transmit but yes this will *eventually* be the case but our vaccine rollout is majorly AstraZeneca with a low efficacy rate & we’re easing lockdown before more than 10% of the population has been fully vaccinated, therefore a 3rd wave of infection is inevitable. We’re talking short term here, it isn’t misleading.
Apr 13, 2021 The whole point is there’s a choice involved, right? For instance if the U.S. government offers tax breaks to companies that mandate their employees get vaccinated, it’s that companies choice to take that tax break or not. They don’t have to. If they ultimately do take the tax break & mandate employees have to get vaccinated then the employees have a choice too. They can get vaccinated or find another job.
Apr 13, 2021 Morons its like you wanna invest and warren b comes at you with “invest at xxl stock” and then rodalph that pack fruits at the supermarket comes at you with “invest at burger king” and you go yup bk at is morons
Apr 13, 2021 I understand what you saying, I just don't think you can incentivize something that's mandatory for your business to do anyways. At that point it becomes an ultimatum.
Apr 13, 2021 Vaccines are typically dealt with via ultimatums though, no? Even if you want to attend public school, you have to be vaccinated. Sure there are other options (homeschool & private school) & exemptions depending on where you live but that’s an ultimatum of sorts too. I don’t think that’s drastically different than the tax break example I mentioned earlier. If forcing people’s hand leads to more people getting vaccinated—im all for it. The point is to force vaccine skeptical people to make these really tough life decisions so that they ultimately just come around & get vaccinated anyways.
Apr 13, 2021 Ah I see what you mean. Public schools was a good example. Yeah eventually I feel it will be mandated anyways, especially in my line of work. Might as well take advantage of it while there are incentives to do it now.
Apr 13, 2021 Yeah but there's a difference requiring measles/polio type of vaccine which is proven and tested thoroughly compared to the current rona vaccines.
