Dec 21, 2020 Y’all are gonna get crazy a--- side effects. We don’t know what this will do to us long and short term. A rushed vaccine? No thank you!
Dec 22, 2020 Yes I would. Probably one of the last in line to get it in my country but if given the chance I trust that the EMA did their job.
Dec 22, 2020 cdc literally leaked months ago 99.8 % survival rate dont wanna take their MakeARetard shot
Dec 22, 2020 Well, I probably caught it back in February on my way back to Turkey from Thailand. It was very different kinda sickness (not even a sickness) which lasted for around a week or 2. I was coughing and had headaches. Normally, I'd have had runny nose but I didn't (very odd for me and I never really cough normally which was also very odd too) So anyway, regardless of that little event, I won't get vaccined. I don't think it'd worth it. I'm not really that close with many, I don't use public transportation. I only go to work and back home. People from my office already been through it and I wasn't really effected, neither did my gf or my family. I don't think covid would effect me that much. The stress and anxiety I'd have from vaccine would be much more danger to me since I kinda have a phobia against hospitals lol. But seriously though, %60 of the population getting a vaccine would be enough for virus to end, I highly doubt I'm in priority among my population anyway. Too young, no medical conditions or records, not much public exposure related to work. There are millions that are in more delicate situation against covid compared to me.
Dec 22, 2020 Actually, this is very important part of it. I would never really get the vaccine but the traveling s--- might change it. But I doubt they will have it mandatory for travelling outside of the country, at least in the long term. Probably, many countries and airways would say it's mandatory for some time but i don't it'd last longer depending on the rate of infection decreasing etc. On second thought, they would just use the tests as mandatory, why would they care if you are protected by vaccine, they would mostly care about if your current condition... Anyway, we'll have to wait and see. I don't see myself travelling with a plane for 2021 anyway. With this latest mutation happened in GB and few other countries, vaccines might not really work perfectly...
Dec 22, 2020 I don't know how it is Turkey but in the USA you can get some vaccines in the pharmacy at a grocery store. Hospitals kinda freak me out too but don't let that be the reason you decide not to get it. The "well if 60% get it we'll be fine so I don't need it" attitude is not a good one to have because it places the burden on everyone else and this type of thinking is how you get low turnout for elections and such.
Dec 23, 2020 Like I said, there are priorities, elders, unhealthy people, people that works in public related jobs who interacts with more people etc. Those should get the vaccine and that would be enough. They are at risk. I know it might sound silly but hospitals are not the only reason I refuse to get this vaccine. I refuse it mainly because I don't think I need it at all. For all those months, I traveled whenever it was possible. I barely used masks outside (I don't interact with people anyway), never used it in fitness centers etc, I really do think covid is overrated for healthy people. It's almost like all those restrictions we have to obey are just to protect the delicate people. Don't wanna argue about this stuff because people act as if covid is the worst virus ever or kills too many people but in fact, it's just effected %1 of the world's population and has a killing rate of %3-4 or something. Plus, those are just the stats as we know of. We know that many people already infected without even realizing it, which means the killing rate might even be less. To put it in perspective, covid killed almost same amount of people as traffic accidents kills people per year. And traffic accidents are like the 7th in the list of the most death causes. All in all, stats and my first hand experience tells me I most probably won't need a vaccine. I never get flu vaccines neither. I try to use less medicine etc as possible. But hey that's me. You can get it. And I would advise many people to get vaccinated since many people suffers from various diseases such as heart, plus many smokes and are unhealthy etc.
Dec 23, 2020 None of that changes my point, which was that a bunch of people taking the attitude you have are going to k--- people. There's no avoiding it—you can pass the virus without having symptoms and no matter how careful you are, unless you 100% quarantine yourself you can't rule out that risk (especially traveling like you have...and i'm not judging you for that I'm just telling you that this is a fact). 1% of the world's population is 78 million people. That's a lot of people. I understand wanting to not put medicine in your body unless it's necessary, but unless you have a medical reason not to get the vaccine it's straight up selfish not to. Cars killing more people isn't a reason to not be worried about COVID, it's a reason to be be worried about car safety lol.
Dec 23, 2020 @Donkey Kong Cuntry just curious (this is no offence at CSA btw I might disagree but thats fine) but do you have many convo's w conspiracy stories? Last week I had like a 45 min convo (work related) w some dude that told stories about the WHO & Rockefeller institute how its all planned etc etc and no matter how much I tried to be polite and come up w proven facts... really u can go on for days, some are so brainwashed by stupid facebook video's or conspiracy forums its exhausting even trying to have a convo lol
Dec 23, 2020 Not that I don't agree with things you said, but none of it will change my stance on vaccine... Only way I'll get it is that if they forbid those who don't get vaccinated from flights etc.
