Mar 9, 2021 What symptoms are you still dealing with? I feel like it's been quite a while since you mentioned that you got it. Hope you are feeling better and get past it completely soon
Mar 9, 2021 Well, the thing is I work in a beer store, right? So I have a contact with at least 200 people per day or more on weekends. I didn't believe in covid at first, which is reasonable, cause there's a lot of people that neglect it still to this day lol. First confirmed covid case in Poland happened in March 2020 and believe me man, I didn't wear a mask since then untill like idk, October I guess. I got it eventually and afterwards I got memory problems which really sucks, cause I'm a entertainter in the first place. I've found myself talking about something and forgetting what I was talking about a few seconds later, I've beat it anyways, but s---, it got afraid at some point. Now I'm all good, just a little bit slow when it comes to memorizing things. Also my lung capacity got weird - which is weird cause I'm only 27, young as f--- - I rap and I'm really struggling with going hard on the mic, sometimes it feels like I've been running arund like I was crazy But anyways, I don't trust these vaccines cause there's so many other diseases and scientists didn't come out with a cure so fast, so... and also I've been sick with flu symptoms 3 times in these last 12 months. Idk man, I really don't know what's going on
Mar 9, 2021 My lung capacity is messed up and I have some memory loss moments, also I'm tired without doing anything. I'm trying to beat it tho, I wish it was over broski, thanks!
Mar 10, 2021 We’re saying similar things but coming to different conclusions. The immunocompromised can still potentially catch the virus from a vaccinated person even if the rate of likeliness is reduced, especially in somewhere like a concert or a club with close-contact. This is the same when it comes to mutations, for example, look at how ineffective the AstraZeneca vaccine is to the South African variant (as low as 10% in a 2000 people study) yet the rollout continues as it’s cheaper to store & they’re pushing it on the pretence of “future booster jabs” - this isn’t a solution, this is a plaster over a broken leg, when will it end? The main problems I have with this rollout isn’t the vaccine itself, it’s how the government’s are handling it & people’s perception of it which has been twisted by their government’s narratives despite health experts saying otherwise. It’s mostly the Neoliberal governments that haven’t been practicing 0-Covid from day 1 spouting the nonsense that everything will be peachy once everyone’s vaccinated despite it still ravaging through the population along with the evidence stating otherwise & to top it off, 3 month delays in 2nd doses is asinine to the core, you’re asking for mutations & further deaths with that. Here’s a thread going into more detail by an expert that was de-platformed (censored) from discussion by the BBC as it goes against the narrative:
Mar 10, 2021 Did you know the CIA tried to use free Hepatitis B vaccinations to sniff out where Bin Laden was hiding in 2010? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/jul/11/cia-fake-vaccinations-osama-bin-ladens-dna As a result, this has caused distrust in the Pakistani community regarding COVID vaccines, 49 percent say they won’t get it in large part because of the CIA's fake vaccination campaigns in the country. Unbelievable what that terrorist organisation get up to.
Mar 10, 2021 That's nothing to do with Covid. That's marriage. You're slowly having the life s----d out of you.
Mar 10, 2021 Had my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine two weeks ago. No side effects whatsoever only a sore arm.
Mar 10, 2021 I'll take it coz I fall into the immunocompromised groupings due to my restrictive lungs and overall health. I can definitely understand the skepticism but would rather err on the side of caution and get it instead of chancing it and going without it. A friend of mine put it simply, all vaccines had to start somewhere. All vaccines had to go through the 'test of time' to ensure their efficacy. Vaccine schedules are constantly being adjusted due to long term results. Tetanus shot lasts for more than 10 years now. New vaccines are now scheduled for kids that weren't available to the older generation when they were young. It's always changing and it has to start somewhere. And facts are, there's a shitload of money from governments and companies being thrown into this research because it's vital and necessary.
Mar 10, 2021 A lot of the delay in “normal” vaccine rollouts is to do with waiting around for months, sometimes years of approvals rather than development itself, scientists can sometimes be sitting on fully tested vaccines for years because of this. Obviously due to this situation being a worldwide crisis, most of the previous stop & start processes have been removed & vaccine roll out fast-tracked as a result. People should definitely get the vaccines, but also know the risks of COVID aren’t completely eliminated, especially down the line. The majority of the world have simply acted poorly to the crisis & caused this mess, not the vaccines.
Mar 10, 2021 Did you see that link I posted, sucker. Some people with long covid had their symptoms releived from the vaccine.
Mar 10, 2021 All of this is about risk reduction. So while yes, it’s possible for an immunocompromised person to contract COVID from a vaccinated person, it’s significantly less likely. It will become further unlikely the closer we get to herd immunity (70%+ of the population vaccinated). Pfizer & moderna are ~95%. There’s also already preliminary data showing Pfizer being effective against newer strains like the Brazil strain. I’m not as familiar with the Astra vaccine but I know definitely that the big 3 (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson) are extremely effective. Even if some of the newer strains do reduce effectiveness, there’s still data that shows the vaccines reduce hospitalizations & extreme COVID symptoms that are life threatening which matters! These vaccines are undoubtedly saving lives.
Mar 12, 2021 I had doubts about the COVID vaccine too, especially considering the timing and the fact its still for emergency use only right now. Ya'll know i'm in the military, but what's interesting is they are legally not allowed to force us to take the vaccine for that reason.
