    You have to show some confidence. Ignoring or looking away is probably the worst thing you can do. They will see you as an easy prey. Don't listen to people saying to ignore it, that you're only 13.

    The only way to actually stop people from f---ing with you is to stand your ground and show some confidence. Defend yourself. It doesn't even have to be physical. Just reply back with something clever and show them it doesn't bother you.

    It doesn't matter how you get respected, whether it be by fear of getting humiliated with a clever insult or by fear of getting beaten up. The important part is that you do or say something back. That's how you will make s--- like this stop.
