Many people can very easily grasp why Yeezus gets the praise it does from music nerds. They simply don't believe it deserves that level of praise, probably because they rate projects using different parameters and don't really care about whether or not a rapper is "pushing the boundaries of the genre" and weird, rushed, "innovation" for the sake of "innovation". Give me great hip hop beats, enjoyable songs and good writing (CD, LR, MDBTF) any day over a rushed mess "oh but isn't it so artistic and brash" album like Yeezus. I can totally see why someone might prefer Yeezus over all Kanye's over projects, it's just that me and that person aren't going to have much overlap in our music tastes.
