    I think so.
A lot of ppl so afraid of that term in hip hop. Using a "ghost writer" usually doesn't mean u just have a team of rappers come in, write verse for you, have you record it and call it a song.
I don't really mind if ye has someone come in and contribute a couple new rhythms to a song or a catchy line on the hook. That doesn't change much for me in terms of kanyes abilities

I kinda agree and of course @Big Dangerous I don't compare tech nine to big pun..

But kanye is a great rapper that makes amazing music. That combined make him top 10 for me

We live in a world where people casually clown Tupac as having sub par rapping ability but say Kanye lyricism is fine or even great

No, you did. Trackz mentioned rhymes being important and you immediately bring up tech n9ne. You're clearly either making up excuses to fit your narrative that rappers that rhyme good are bad, or you're just comparing people like Pun to Tech. That's on you

I would love for someone to try and convince me that Tupac isn't vastly superior to Kanye lyrically.

you may not mind, but hip hop/rap is much more competitive than other genres. if we talking simply "i want to make the best music", ye has a great formula for that. ye is more of a musical composer than just a rapper.

if we are talking rapping and the competitiveness of that, ye isnt going to out rap a cyhi, royce, jay z, etc. thats not his lane.

I believe Kanye has never wrote something as good as Dear Mama. Maybe Gorgeous and Dark Fantasy come close.
