Oct 14, 2016 But I'm not about to go back to listening to Aesop's discog after just wrapping up Gawd Tiller's T R A P S O U L for the 30th+ listen.
Oct 14, 2016 hmmm... usually i'm capable of free-thinking but today i'm not. So let me just run the names through my computer program and i'll see what it says about their lyricism. 2 seconds
Oct 14, 2016 @Volt Papii Ok i put Aesops name into my program and it gave me this. Aesop Rock Lyricism Determined Artist: Aesop Rock Lyricist: yes Then I enetered Drake's name and got this Drake ERROR 404: NO LYRICS FOUND If you're seeing this error, we were unable to find any written lyrics by the artist mentioned. You either a ) miss typed their name, try re-typing the artists name and searching again. b ) the artist uses ghostwriters and is not a lyricist.

Oct 14, 2016 depends on the song/rapper a lot of s-----y music can get by being great on sound alone and being catchy/fun af but i like hearing funny things that make u go "haaah"
Oct 14, 2016 also i think aesop rock is dope just by virtue of his sexy a--- voice and his great production
Oct 14, 2016 I don't think it's stupid to care about it, but you're right about it not making you a lyricist.
Oct 14, 2016 I enjoy music with a lot of substance but at the same time I can enjoy less lyrically deep material aswell
Oct 14, 2016 There's plenty of good, really good music without good lyricism, but good lyricism is always good music, depends on the mood
