Oct 8, 2016 Eh, I know this a troll thread but I think it's entirely possible to understand someone else's POV if you're open minded. You don't have to have a dead mother to have a legitimate opinion on 808s. Granted, there are plenty of white boys (and really people of any skin color) who are biased against rap since a lot of its aspects are rooted in lower-class Black American culture but there are idiotic criticisms of every genre, I just assume we tend to notice cringy rap opinions more since for most of us that's our preferred genre we keep up with. I think problems with misinformed rap opinions stem more from people who are disconnected from the culture and hear about rap from Eminem soundtracks in COD trailers n s---.
