    I feel like post-NWTS he and 40 had this direction for the project planned that was gonna please his core fan base but HLB just opened up the floodgates for him to churn out hit after hit.

    then the video turned in to the biggest meme of late 2015

    drake got poisoned as a creative by becoming the biggest name in rap. the hunger isnt there like it was in 2011 when he was saving every ross and wayne collab and handing out hit singles in his sleep

    now he just tryna stay on top by being a hit factory rather than an artist.

    For me that was the #1 moment on Views cause that leaked intro had been out for so long and I never thought it'd be finished.

    Need More Life like Now. I have a good feelin bout it. I don't think Drake would try and make some commercial s--- like Views since he already done that. Feels like Views was an album that was supposed to break records & collect accolades and thats exactly what he did. I feel like now that he got that project out the way he can make some more genuine s---

    I wanna give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows he can't drop something like that again, but like Don Perignon said, success is intoxicating.

    Drake knows the game and has always had such a good feel for what fans wanted/needed, which was part of the reason Views was so surprising to most of us who've been following him for years.

    He gave Drake some really dope melodies and I think The Ride hook? This idea that Abel was sitting around writing verses for Drake has always been so laughable to me.
