Jun 19, 2015 I think we can chalk this thread up to another major L for Final. It can also serve as an example of just how stupid someone would need to be to vote for Trump. Final has done a major public service by showing us just how bad of a candidate Trump is and how morally and intellectually bankrupt his supporters are.

That's not how our democratic republic government works. This is why no one is taking you seriously. Do you even know what checks & balances are? What policy gridlock is? Let me chalk up what I remember you saying/implying: Want America to be more badass - whatever that means Want lower debt level for USA - I easily explained why this isn't a major problem and you had no response to offer Want to pay lower (to zero) taxes - Very narrow simplistic view "boohoo i'm paying too many taxes". Also contradictory with lowering debt level, if anything happens then by lower the debt level and borrowing less will mean a huge tax spike. So you really didn't think this through and just said what you emotionally felt not intellectually thought. Want to fix USA-s "broken economy" - You didn't explain what you exactly meant by this. Thus I responded asking where do you think the economy is doing fine? Huge part of Europe's economy (industry wise) is on it's way to toilet. Not even going to bring up Latin America. So this leaves Asia, right? You know the crossroads that China is at (or even past those crossroads possibly) sustainability wise? So this leaves other Asia, fine they're booming, I agree. But USA isn't doing that bad in a comparative perspective. Again of course it depends on what you exactly have in mind when speaking about economy. You said I'm all about numbers and cannot connect them to everyday life of citizens (social consequences etc.) - Ever heard of welfare economics? And that's about it. What are exactly those ideas and views that I or any other intellectual person should agree with here? Get the f--- outta here with that s---. And stop mentioning me when responding to others. Jun 19, 2015 Just what America needs: a president whose entire professional life has been making money for himself and his partners at the expense of everyone who works for him. You know, someone with experience in business. America is run by businessmen already. A strong businessman is the last person who should be president. A strong businessman who is basically a professional wrestling personality is even worse.
