Feb 7, 2016 the other guy was talking about beating them up without questioning at all obviously they arent people and shud be f---in lynched
Feb 7, 2016 lmao there is no fixing someone that will blow themselves up to k--- innocent people that didn't do anything to them. Wow.
Feb 7, 2016 nah thats too easy. if someones found to be a terrorist keep them alive on bread and water, subject them to s--- kickings any time a citizen feels inclined to do so.
Feb 7, 2016 Am I saying they're not a s-----y person? No, terrorists are obviously f---ing horrible people. Do I want to let them free? No, obviously not either. Prison should be a place of rehabilitation, whether it'd be for the average joe caught smoking pot or a terrorist. I'd rather avoid a few terrorist attacks than helping to inspire even more.
Feb 7, 2016 Why would you want to give a terrorist the chance for rehab? Why do they deserve the chance to turn their life around? If they're willing to take the gift of life from someone completely unsuspecting and innocent, why would you want to give them another chance at theirs? It doesn't make any sense to me. If someone's a terrorists, they should be treated like actual, literal, scum, and scrubbed from the earth.
Feb 7, 2016 I'm out in this thread cuz I realize y'all are too thick-skulled, but one last thing: Don't fight fire with fire.
Feb 7, 2016 You don't need to carpet bomb to foil a plot to k--- innocent civilians. all they need is to get info on whereabouts/identities/dates. It doesn't matter how advanced technology is, the military cannot listen to peoples conversations if they are at an unknown locations and are unknown individuals. This isn't showing off "hey we can be just as bad as you!" it's more of gaining knowledge, then gaining power through that knowledge. They k--- innocents, they get tortured for information, they still have done more harm, than what harm has come to them as they still walk away to prison with their life. i'll use that famous american n----s quote; "they say we offer say we offer simple answers to complex problems.Well perhaps there is a simple answer, not an easy one, but a simple one." It's a simple solution, but it's not easy to swallow for some people.
Feb 7, 2016 And saying that's fighting fire with fire is a false equivalency, I'm not saying to send USA troops in to suicide bomb innocent Arab countries and s---t up Syrian concerts. I'm saying the ones that are convicted and found guilty of aiding or comitting terroristic plots don't deserve a second chance. Get off your high horse.
Feb 7, 2016 Again, this is a scenario you would see in an action movie, not a real-life scenario. If the United States government is aware of a possible terror threat a year in advanced, they're not going to put all their resources in breaking this one guy who might or might not have info of the plot. They're going to a----s the risk of the threat and proceed from there. They're going to dig through that guys background and find out every single little detail about his life. Again, we don't have to break the law in order to fight terrorism. This is a nice opinion piece but it ignores the fact that the CIA report proves torture to not be effective. Nitpicking operatives/agents who say it worked doesn't really hold up when the report which consists of cases going back 10+ years since the start of "the war on terror" disputes that.
Feb 7, 2016 Waterboarding ain't even torture lmao there's a lot worse s--- they can do to you than that. These people want to chop our heads off and we're too scared to rough em up a lil bit? f--- that, enough with this PC s---
Feb 7, 2016 About the article: Leon panetta, the cia director and would be defense secretary under Obama said that water boarding was very successful in getting information from terrorists. And I still don't think water boarding is torture. It's bad but ur not hurting someone persay
Feb 7, 2016 Seems to be the usual approach we take. Ignore the practical answer until s--- hits the fan then accept the truth we've been ignoring after our liberal left-wing bubble gets burst
Feb 7, 2016 bring in a special gladiator colisseum type arena. all the terrorists are in the middle and the colisseum gets filled with people who lost family members/friends etc. they can throw rocks freely at the terrorists.
Feb 7, 2016 Idk fam but i wasn't intending it to be a joke it's a false equivalency to say that torturing known and convicted terrorists is "fighting fire with fire", and that's an undisputable fact.
