Feb 7, 2016 Bruh.... It's torture lol. Putting someone under duress to obtain information is torture regardless if you think it's not bad. And again, I'll refer to the CIA report that concluded "advance interrogation" techniques to not work. Leon Panetta is one person. I'm referring to a report that looked into cases dating back over a decade.
Feb 7, 2016 Torture is OK when you're torturing a known and proven terrorist. What's there to debate?
Feb 7, 2016 This mindset works with domestic prisoners in jail for things like drugs, violence or robbery or etc. There is no way you can reason with a terrorist. They operate on a completely different plane with normal people. It's like dealing with a different species of life. The best you can do is extract and debilitate. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that.
Feb 7, 2016 f--- it, I've thought it over and I'll take both sides. Should we try to rehabilitate every terrorist? No, some obviously can't and won't cooperate. Should we torture them until they do? Eh... that depends. Should we water board them? No, that's been proven to not work. Should we throw them in solitary confinement? Still f----- up but I feel like that'll work better than waterboarding. Arguably putting them in solitary confinement will do them worse than waterboarding, so shouldn't you guys be all for that? Terrorists are obviously terrible people and should be treated with little to no respect. Whether or not we should torture them is a tricky subject because torturing them for information with the current methods we use don't work. However, I'd much rather hurt the ones that don't co-operate mentally than physically.
Feb 7, 2016 I see you keep saying "known and proven terrorist" but that's not reality. Like I said a while back, many individuals that are taken to military camps like Guantanamo are "suspected terrorist." They aren't given trials, lawyer or anything so we don't know if they're "known and proven terrorist." Secondly, even if they were, what's the point of torture if the procedure is proven to not work or be effective? What's the gain?
Feb 7, 2016 Let's stop right here and get this out of the way If your justice system finds someone guilty of terrorism, they're a known terrorist, otherwise you have no faith in the justice system of your country and you have no say in the matter.
Feb 7, 2016 Putting anyone in solitary confinement is f----- up. Do you know the mental ware-and-tare someone goes through in there? Solitary confinement would probably cause more damage to a person in the long-term than waterboarding them, so shouldn't you especially be all for it?
Feb 8, 2016 Ok but is that outside of the justice system? Of course not, your country is deeming them as such a high thread that they aren't worthy of trials. If you think they're doing that on a whim to people they don't like then I might as well stop replying to you, your time is better suited polishing your tinfoil fedora
Feb 8, 2016 Do you know the mental wear and tear living in fear of being shot up at a random concert does to an ordinary citizen that has done no wrong?
Feb 8, 2016 One of the goals of a terrorist is to incite fear. If you're afraid of going to a concert because a terrorist shot up one, guess what? The terrorists have already won.
Feb 8, 2016 Pretty f----- up we got people out there advocating for terrorists rights. #terroristlivesmatter coming soon.
Feb 8, 2016 Nope. Like I said before the CIA obstracts individuals that are linked to terrorists. This idea that every person the U.S. Government grabs and puts in a military camp is 100% a terrorist simply isn't true.
Feb 8, 2016 For real though, this is f---ing insane. A few years ago liberals were an annoying itch. Now it's just f---ing insane.
