Feb 9, 2016 Your human rights should be revoked the second you join terrorism, which sole purpose is to cause terror to other humans, usually by killing them by various means, most notably by chopping another humans head off, like so:
Feb 9, 2016 I mean yaaaa we should totally give the guy who bombed a f---ing building, killing dozens & hurting 100s in the process to continue to breathe oxygen so he can give us no useful information, spit in our face & be put behind bars with our tax money because "he's a human who still should have rights" there are times where these kind of guys just need to die & not continue wasting space. Harsh but it's the truth
Feb 9, 2016 The law doesn't work like that. It becomes a very complicated and rigorous process. If we were to do this, we would then have to provide a legal definition of "terrorist." We would then need to open the discussion of who gets to make that determination of whether or not someone is a terrorist. We would also have to consider people who fund terrorist organizations and whether they fall under that same definition. Also, if they do, what if they're a United States citizen? If that's the case then that conflicts with federal law that states prisoners can't be subjected to torture. Do you see what I'm getting at here? If you open up an exception it allows for a lot of wiggle room for interpretation which would lead to tons of controversey. I don't like the idea of the government being able to strip away someone's human rights by simply labeling them a terrorist.
Feb 9, 2016 terrorism is a terrible word.. because media uses it basically to terrorize population and create paranoia and it is really relative. in example, for me the US goverment is the ultimate terrorist. i mean, nuclear bombing on population, Vietnam, Iraq, arming the muyadeen, condor operation, funding facists dictatorships, economically blocking a country for decades...is terrorism. Yet they are the ones who call the other terrorists all the time. i feel like capitan obvious saying these facts but im sure a lot of people will get butthurt reading this
Feb 9, 2016 it can be considered, yes, absolutely why not? i am saying the word is totally relative for US, Bin Laden was a terrorist for afgans i .e. US could be considered terrorist because they are invading and bombing their country very logical i think just tell me if any terrorist group/country has done as much as the acts i listed in my other post, as the US government
Feb 10, 2016 This thread is a perfect example of how out of touch people like Enigma and Rodamon are. You guys should go to Syria and protest human rights.
Feb 10, 2016 hard to support any candidate who completely rules waterboarding out what if you catch a terrorist and he's got info and he doesn't respond to other forms of torture? you need that info to save American lives
Feb 10, 2016 u can defend yourself with that if u want.. i just stated the first FACTS that came to my mind.. ignoring the terrible damage that the US government did/does to many other countries.. i think is a terrible thing too. did i say that the IS members are saints? no. but who caused/causes more damage in this planet is clearly the US gov. like it or not, so they should chill about this terrorist bs. it happens here also,.. the media/gov use the word terrorist for everything and everyone is in a big paranoia. i have a friend who i really love, from US and we had healthy debates about these topics, and it wasnt a big deal
Feb 10, 2016 ISIS terrorists lost their right to basic human rights the second they started slaughtering innocent people. If Trump had said he supports cutting their throats on live TV, I'd still support it.
Mar 4, 2016 Looks like Trump has reversed his position on torture lol. I wonder what made him flip. The fact that multiple heads of the U.S. military have refused to do such actions if he were president or the fact that he sounds fucken crazy endorsing torture.
