Aug 7, 2015 I disagree. Personally I don't think theres a bad or horrid song on the album. Medicine Man may have it's iffy moments here and there but it's still a pretty solid song... regardless of how Em did on it.
Aug 7, 2015 The only song I'd even consider is skippable is Genocide. I can see how people like it but it's not for me. Medicine Man could have been great too but f---ing once again Eminem starts off okay and just goes completely off the best screaming about nothing. It's like he just says "f--- this beat I'm going to show everybody how loud and fast I can rap". The dude is done and was the lone low point of the album.
Aug 7, 2015 Disappointing but not surprising. 50 is great at burning bridges and did just that with Dre. His relationship with Dre began to die in late 2005 and was officially done when he left Interscope and started SMS. It sucks and the fans are the ones that got f----- but 50 did it to himself. Edit- I remember Dre really wanting Game and 50 on a track together at one point (2010?). Man, what could have been.
Aug 7, 2015 I thought his contribution was good but he kind of bummed me out after the Lou Rawls line. I think if he kept that flow in the first part of his verse the song would of been better. But regardless, Medicine Man is still a good song at least to me.
Aug 7, 2015 Fair enough and I mean for 2015 it's a decent Eminem verse in the sense that he wasn't talking about farting or taking a s--- but this album was a masterpiece and everybody on it brought their A-game besides Eminem. Eminem phoned this verse in just like he did for Yellow Wolf. I wish he would have put more effort into it. Or maybe the effort was there and he just can't rap anymore. Either way I don't care about the guy anymore.
Aug 7, 2015 yes, like not the sound I was hoping for and nowhere near Chronic and 2001 but quite good nonetheless
