Sep 3, 2015 So upon enough listens, (I think), in my honest humble opinion, Genocide is the best beat of 2015 so far. With a great pair of headphones or stereo system it is just too good. Obviously music is very subjective and I respect other peoples opinions but the beat is just straight dirty. It may not be the best song on the album, but it is just so pleasing to the ears.
Sep 4, 2015 Ugh this s--- doesn't age, f---ing "say whassup to the n----- wearin all black at the white party" That f---ing beat!
Sep 4, 2015 Playability in the beginning: 1.5/5 Replay value now: 4.5/5 Initial rating: 2/5 Current rating after detailed listening: 5/5
Sep 4, 2015 I honestly don't even think it's really bad but the rest is so, so much better.. which can say something about MM but also how great the rest is. Only other songs I don't love are Genocide (unpopular, I know.. I like it tho) and that Game song. Rest is still amazing to this day
Sep 4, 2015 I'm with you except that Genocide has really grown on me. I couldn't get into it at first but I love it now. It'd be a lot better without chick singing the reggae rapping bs but other than that I think it's great. The Game song is still s--- though. It's crazy to me that people love this song because he's no different than Eminem was at his worst. Awful flow, ridicuous voice changes, not really saying much of anything. Terrible, terrible verse. Why is he rapping in so many different ridiculous voices? Like I said it's no different than Eminem's accent was to me. People who enjoy that need to go listen to 04-07 Game stuff. Besides that I can't get into Love Of Money. It's not bad but it's really boring and just meh all the way around. Other than that this is my favorite album since MDBTF.
Sep 5, 2015 Same here. But MBDTF also has a few songs I don't really like (LITW and that skit for example). For the love of money grew on me, didn't like it at first. Need to listen to genocide a few times more, maybe it will grow on me as well. Last Game song (non album) I really loved was Keepin It Real.. not sure what year it's from but that's exactly what I want from him.
Sep 5, 2015 Some people don't like For the Love of Money as much, but it's one of my favorite songs on the album. The beat is really good, and I really like both verses. If Jon Connor ever drops an Aftermath album, I hope it sounds like his involvement in this song. I also really like this Dre line in his verse: "Ride, ride, till the motherfucking wheels fall off in this b----." I thoroughly enjoy the whole album, though. (And yes, including Medicine Man.)
Sep 5, 2015 Its a shame because I thought Game was going to grab this opportunity with both hands and k--- it. Game from 04-07 was a beast, legitimately one of the most enjoyable rappers to listen to. His voice is f----- now. Not sure what people think of this but I love it, might be my favourite Game song in recent times. Is it from 08/09? Love his collabs with Yeezy
Sep 6, 2015 It seems there is some problems with MC Ren. Can't post source but I get the impression from most interviews he is sour he wasn't more involved.
Sep 6, 2015 Just picked up my physical copy today and g.d. does this s--- b--- haha. I probably wont have this out of the tape deck for at least a year! haha
Sep 6, 2015 I dont get the Medicine Man hate. Yeah 2015 Em has some cringe worthy music, but I thought he thoroughly delivered on this track. Also I liked that it was different from the rest, stands out more to me.
