    You’re right but it doesn’t really address the mixing problem — it was rife in that era. Alex Da Kid underwater drums still appear in my nightmares from time to time.

    Dre’s raps were mostly written by King Mez & Jon Connor.

    Regardless, Compton is f---ing nuts. Arguably the most underrated album released by a hip hop legend ever.
