    Yeah but kamikaze and MTBMB were more like mixtapes.. imo he’s been working on an album in the background during all this time. A magnum opus that will come with singles and promo.. will be announced etc.,

    Hopefully this is it. Imo you don’t release another Side C to compliment a Dr DrE release and headline a Super Bowl.

    something big is coming from our camp.

    The albums are all basically announced already… obviously they are all releasing albums before the super bowl.

    On Dr. Dre’s upcoming album.

    “You know Dr. Dre…I tell you the album is coming out and three years later we will be talking about this s**t like it is coming out. I don’t know but I do know he’s in the studio, making great f**king music. I think some of his music is connected to GTA video game that’s coming out. That will be the way that his music will be released though the GTA and I’m part of it.”

    For me it's pretty clear that we will eating a real album.:thankful:

    It’s funny really that he didn’t release any new material on the fear of not coming close to 2001, clearly Compton was a thought process absent of that previous mindset, but it just makes them years in between completely pointless to be wasted. I have no doubt the future won’t be wasted.

    Dre could've easily have topped 2001 crazy that he didn't release any of these albums but was cool on releasing Compton. soundtrack or not it's still looked at as a dre album and follow up to 2001.

    For people who can comprehend what this is, it gives you an idea of the vision from Dre & why just a random brilliant cut was never enough, this man wanted a cinematic experience.

    What if he used the storyline of GTA as inspiration though? He used Straight Outta Compton (the movie) as rough inspiration to deliver Compton the album. It's not like he isn't open to concepts and inspiration, we knew he was balls deep in making an album from the POV of a serial killer and also into "Planets" with each track titled after a planet in the solar system.
