    Been saying Dre a good writer, people think he just raps what’s written for him even though he’s been coaching rappers & singers for decades.

    I can tell the songs are good but it’s really strange having to listen to the poor quality versions on YouTube ripped from the game or whatever. Pretty baffling that Dre wouldn’t want everyone to hear the best quality versions right away!

    I also have to laugh when I read "Em wrote his verse". Like Gospel doesn't sound like Em at all? Especially how dre uses the n-word in his verse.

    I don’t know, sounds like a possibility based on the cadence & Em has written a lot of verses with the word in so it’s not necessarily an identifier. But we’re all guessing.

    If this is written & performed by Dre all by himself then he has levelled up his ability, it’s not impossible.

    Dre knows what sounds good and what needs to be done to sound good. Even when someone writes him a verse I’m sure he tinkers with it a lot. Switching the order of bars around and whatever else

    I had a feeling it was, it’s harder to tell because of the potato quality tracks we got right now but the transition from that part of the chorus to his natural delivery sounded too seamless to not be just him with a vocal effect added instead of a different vocalist.

    I actually can't stop bumping these Dre tracks. At least 2 hours a day since they dropped.

    Couple of thoughts:
    I'm about to delete that Nipsey track. I really can't stand it.

    Does anyone else get slightly annoyed that the BPM slow down significantly during the second half of the hook on Fallin Up? It's the only thing that's stopping that song being a perfect 10/10 to me.

    Dre uses ghostwriters. I don't know why people are taking the denials seriously now when people have denied it for years despite overwhelming evidence. It is what it is.

    For someone who's brand is all about sound quality, Dre really does choose some frustrating ways to distribute his music. The apple radio stuff was much worse though.
