Jul 12, 2015 Got to be honest I've only seen episode 1 but it already looks more promising then the movies. I wish Akira made Super first then movies or have the movies include separate themes/enemies whilst being canon and have Super be different. I REALLY want him to jump ahead before/after the Budokai Tournament with Uub when everyone is older. I want an adult badass Gotenks
Jul 12, 2015 I might be a bit confused, or lost somewhere... But judging from eps 1 & 2 its set before the 2 new movies. It looks like bills+weiss will be re-introduced to goku/vegeta and they'll get the new god form (most likely the one seen in the frieza movie ?)

Jul 12, 2015 Dragonball logic The way it is now the various level of Super Saiyan is just forms that while increase strength, zaps power quickly so Goku focused on staying at SS1 whilst being powerful than a SS3. As for Vegeta in BOG he exceeded Goku for a brief time, so Vegeta was able to get to God and perfect the form without needing SS3

Jul 12, 2015 Battle of the gods as far as story goes was pretty s--- towards the second half. I like the idea of scrapping the SS levels, for a new transformation that's more powerful, but I feel Battle of Gods poorly executed that. The series looks a lot more promising though, there's going to be some actual build up to the transformation and just in general feels better. Really hope the god transformation isn't going to be that 5-saiyan-circle-jerk bs like in battle of the gods Not too sure why, but I found that incredibly s---. I think because of their characters, they'd be wanting to attain the power themselves. I mean, think back to the Frieza saga, when Goku trains and fights hard out for like 100 episodes then Frieza kills Krillin and Goku completely f---ing loses it and turns super saiyan. That s--- was amazing because, you knew the whole 'super saiyan' thing was coming eventually, but it wasn't expected. That's how they should be attaining next level transformations IMO. Not this "get in a circle and charge up" bs.

Jul 13, 2015 I'm very interested how this will end with the ending of DBZ making any sense. All I can see that makes sense is Normal Saiyan Goku handling Uub easy, but that's not saying much during the time.. & I'm going to cringe if Akira completely wasted the Fusion concept again, Gogeta should get shine in this series, feels like a underused character tbh
