Oct 15, 2017 wow nice episode but jiren is too overpowered with no background story Super is poorly written it's so lazy imo Freeza, Cell, Bu all had real build up, and a deep back story Jiren is just coming from nowhere with the level of a god. OK. cool. I guess.

Oct 15, 2017 What background story were you expecting with a new character from a different universe that's debuting in a tournament? Where would you've liked to see them fit in a 3 episode arc for a background story?
Oct 15, 2017 He's not a villain who is threatening the Earth's safety like the others you mentioned, the whole point is that he's a mysterious warrior who no one knows anything about. Super has incredible writing and storytelling, the only weak point in the writing is the exposition from the sideline characters as the action ensues but that's passable because they want younger people to understand what's going on.
