Aug 28, 2016 ok i missed like the last 3 eps, but clicked this thread now im hype. also, as cool a character trunks is, is anyone else hoping that black kills him and vegeta finally gets his moment? imagine if they went and explored vegeta dealing with being a "hero" image on earth while experiencing a weird sense of loss when his son from another timeline dies. would be cray.

Aug 29, 2016 Yeah I feel like theres gonna be plenty of opportunities if the show is similar in length/structure to DBZ (which it kind of is: New species comes to earth, sets tone for entire series>revival Frieza>future trunks and DBZ was: Saiyans come to earth, set tone for series>frieza saga>future trunks (this ofc is if you gtfo all the filler sagas)) but not too sure if they'll go ahead with it. Just feel like they could really capatalise on Vegeta's character now that he's got a wife and child (+future trunks if hes around) he's got more to lose now, where as in DBZ he, for most of the series, is the last of 2-4 saiyans in existence and has no friends/family. Also, with Goku I kinda feel his character progression/story is just about dead and they're going to go for a more serious Goku soon. Seems to me like they're putting a bit of emphasis on how he f---s around too much and doesn't take fights as serious as he should. Have a feeling he'll forgive some enemy who will come and k--- him or earth or something later in the series.
Aug 29, 2016 I figured DBS would eventually pick up. Now it's about to be on some next level s---. Trunks might be able to go SS3 at this point but he can't be a SSG. So he's going to get knocked around just like Vegeta. Goku might hold for a bit but he will get stomped. I bet goku ends up tapping out and pressing his little button to contact the king. I bet they run back to the past for help from beer us. Beerus has never stepped in to fight because it hasn't been his fight. But now it's a fight against a god. And Beerus will want revenge on who ever killed him in the future.
