Goku & Vegeta fusing is a last option kind of thing. The fact that Zamasu is killing God's means Beerus could actually fight. Zamasu is the most ruthless villain dragon ball has seen. They aren't going to hype this up for a easy win.

Oct 10, 2016 I kind of like how far behind it is. That way when it's released I can re watch it while I'm waiting for new episodes. But it's already been over a year since DBS started. So starting over with the English dub won't be like I just watched the ep a week ago or something.
