Jan 23, 2017 Seems like most of them are inspired by other mythologies. The elephant, the woman. The clown clearly inspired by Joker (his angel looks like Harley Quinn even with the 2 ponytails). The guys with red beards might be viking gods or from that direction

Jan 23, 2017 um anything to indicate that this female IS broly? seems 10000000x more likely she is a relative of. if it is SJW pandering then dropped though. Gods of destruction look fine except for the first three, but character development could help them. looks like a mix of egyptian/norse/jap mythological themes. "they look uninspired" oh okay, but beerus gaining 400 pounds and becoming champa was so original and inspired! this is a show about multiple universes and collecting planet sized glass balls, that when gathered together, summon a dragon that grants any wish, but saiyans being from another universe "doesn't make sense" ok man.
Jan 23, 2017 I don't think the girl sayain is related to Broly. Broly was a legendary sayain. Why does he have to be the one and only? Maybe its some kind of rare bread of sayain. I think once they actually explain her character more people will be for it. I like the idea myself.
Jan 24, 2017 What? realism =/= internal logic/coherence. the DB-world has it own "rules", and the differences between twin universes has been explained at the beginning of DBS. of course Dragon Ball isn't a realistic work, but it has nothing to do with it respecting its own logic
Jan 24, 2017 as far as i know, there are twin universes, but they haven't explained s--- about them except that twin universes are very similar to each other and contain the same planets... like, why don't you complain that there's an entire multiverse but it's unrealistic cause every living being is humanoid/bipedal? im just saying your nitpicking, like they'll probably just explain it/give her a back story.
Jan 24, 2017 like i get this, but i honestly don't think it was stated that saiyans can only be in that one vegeta planet or w/e its called, then by extension be allowed on the same planet on a twin universe. AFAIK all they've said about twin universes is that they share a lot of similarities and have almost the same planets. But 6/7 being twins, will in the end (should) look entirely different because each universe is meant to have multiple galaxies in them, but the universe 7 earth has only 1 galaxy because majin buu wrecked everything else (or something like that, memory is a little hazy)
Jan 24, 2017 That's why I said earlier that I didn't understand how there could be saiyans in a universe with different planets. I do hope they will provide an actual explanation, but I really don't trust the Toei scenarists.
Jan 24, 2017 I think some people are nitpicking super a little to hard. Dragon ball Z have the best dialogue, story and all that s---. It was just something fun to watch. How many villains were in all of Dragon ball Z? Only what three of them are really talked about? Frieza, Cell & Buu. I'm not thrilled about a lot of the character design's but I'm not going to have a fit until the next arc is said and done. We are getting so many new characters of course some will be trash. And people bitched for over two decades that they wanted a female sayain and brolly to be cannon. Well guess what b------s now you got both. But b------s still be bitching.

Jan 25, 2017 I kind of feel like "legendary SS" could be a "one sayain to rule them all" type of thing. There's got to be a reason why Broly had that much power. But why should he be the only one? It could be like a rare off bread that is there every X amount of years to keep the sayains in line maybe? Broly was like the most savage of them all. But looking not at goku and them but at sayains as a warrior race as they were originally it kind of makes since.

Jan 25, 2017 I'll agree that dragonball probably had better writing start-finish. but i feel weird about it, it's like i didn't like the characters in dragonball anywhere near as much as i did in dragonball z. I think it has something to do with most of the "good" guys in dragonball being kids for the most part. dragonball has some GOAT comedy though holy f---. when goku rams his stick up (i think ?) Dr. Gero's a--- hole. f---ing howled at the moon when i seen that
