    That’s old mentality. I’m not sure at what point it happened (Back To Back comes to mind, but hesitant to give Drake credit for the shift), but expectations have changed and a more immediate response is demanded these days. If you’re not quick to act, then people get tired. And with every waking day with no response, the appearance is that you’re more and more cooked because you *can’t* respond.

    This s---’s hilarious lmao, using 2pac considering he’s Kendrick’s idol and Kendrick has also used him on TPAB. Honestly playing some minor chess moves. He did the 8 Mile thing using 2pac to sort of diss himself. Also interesting claims that kendricks being blocked by Taylor Swift and such. Not sure how people are gonna react to the AI snoop and 2pac though.. they may get a lil mad at Drake and eye roll the clip immediately. I think it’s fine though

    It sounds alright. The bars are mostly filler though. I expect more from Kendrick, especially with his target being Drake…I mean there’s so much info out there already. Maybe my expectations are too high though. This is new territory for Kendrick (he’s never put out a diss track).

    This deal was also largely believed to include a type of ownership stake in UMG where he gets a cut of other artists’ publishing that the label owns. Joe Budden has alluded to the idea that some of the guys currently dissing him are mad over that, because Drake gets a cut of their publishing. Metro is almost certainly included in that, it’s also possible Kendrick is (he signed with UMG in 2020).

    Drakes recently signed $400M with UMG and maintains ownership of his masters, guarantee whatever push said about splits doesn’t matter. Story of Adidon was insane though, he got crazy cooked.
    Drake is goofy for bringing up the wife’s name again lmao. Think he just wants to get under his skin on a personal level
