He sent the first shots; there’s the rumor that he’s had a diss track ready for Drake for 4 years (who knows if true but people believe it); and Push’s “Story of Adidon” revelation of Drake having a kid is def in the back of people’s minds re: any response. There’s just a lot of expectations here & this isn’t really something Kendrick has engaged in before that I can recall. Has Kendrick ever put out an actual diss track?
Apr 13, 2024 Drakes an easy target because of who he is and the music he makes, but he's done this successfully several times. Pusha got him because he's not a major pop artist and can say pretty much whatever he wants while Drake doesn't have that luxury. He was DOA on that beef. Kendrick has never really gone at anyone besides sending subliminals and his recent diss which really wasn't anything. His response is going to be really interesting
