    I agree, he tends to go the safe route a little too often. He will never make bad music, but not being able to expand is limiting his potential.

    Also agree about the beef, it's not that big a deal, Budden just wants him to compete. If he loses, who's gonna really say Drake should've won anyway? If he wins, he gains a lot of credibility. Drake's in a no lose situation to be completely honest.

    I don't blame either of them to be honest with you. Joe's kinda right, Drake could do better than Views, but Drake has a right to feel a type of way about a friend and someone he looked up to for put him on blast during a podcast.

    In the end, I hope we get some tracks from Drake and eventually him and Budden squash it and work together. It's easy to say Budden's irrelevant but what he says matters to Drake, and deep down he probably knows he's right.

    Difference between J Cole and Canibus to Joe and Drake's situation is that Joe/Drake were actual friends and chilled with each other prior.

    Joe's podcast wasn't even insulting though. If you listened to it, Joe just said he thought Drake could do way better. For most of the podcast, he praised Drake's abilities. He even said that he looked at Drake as everything he could've been in this industry and he wants the best for him.

    Then French released the snippet "Pump pump it up" with the caption "We ending careers". I agree that Joe jumped the gun, but Drake KNOWS Joey and is/was a fan.

    I don't blame Joe. This is rap at the end of the day. It's competition. If you subliminally diss someone, odds are, they're going to come back, full force.

    I don't see the problem with Joe doing 4 disses. That's what rappers do lol.

    Most Drake fans will claim he's too big for this, but Drake is a fan of hip hop and cares about his credibility, as much as his fans try to paint that he doesn't. It's why hes apart of the KOTD family and attends FRONT ROW at their events. Whether or not Joe Budden is relevant in today's market doesn't matter. To Drake? It matters.
