    I legit think that Drake is tied with Kendrick for the #1 spot of this generation, kinda like Nas and Jay in the 90s.

    While you could make the argument that kendrick is sitting on 2 masterpieces (and tpab is definitely my favorite project of his so I can't even say its just the critics enjoying his albums), you can have the argument that drake makes music that people want to hear, he can move them, so his albums are also masterpieces in that regard.

    And no matter what you say about god drizzy, he'll always be the jay-z of this era.

    Drake the jay-z of our era, Kendrick the nas of our era, j.cole is the ... of our era (I still don't know who he is, but hes definitely in that top 3 too)

    I only truly respect innovators or truly talented artists tbh.. but that's just me..

    I'm fine with people vouching for (pop) artists, but don't come into the discussion claiming that a lack of talent and lots of hits is a sign of a great artist (who doesn't in any way use calculated formula's that don't come natural to him) because i can tell by ear that something's not right..
