Again, that's not true. If all drake fans were 13 year old girls, he would be a lot less popular, and probably on the same level as the jonas brothers. The difference is, Drake is highly respected by some of the most important people in hip-hop. Kanye, Hov, the list goes on. Even Earl Sweatshirt, someone with an opposite style to Drake has praised him.

But you have to have influence over the genre to be the best in that genre.

If it wasn't for MF DOOM we wouldn't have Earl Sweatshirt, Joey Bada$$, Capital STEEZ, Tyler, The Creator, Lupe Fiasco, Danny Brown, Bishop Nehru, the list goes on. Not to mention Madvillainy, which has drastically changed the genre and the state of the underground. Not to mention the fact that he brought the idea of having multiple personas to hip-hop at the scale that he did. Sure, Biggie had Frank White and Eminem had Slim Shady, but nobody took characters to the scale that DOOM did. MF DOOM took holorhymes to the next level. MF DOOM made skits listenable. MF DOOM has influenced everyone that I mentioned including Mos Def, Jay Electronica, Drake, Nas, Brother Ali, and many more. Don't tell me that MF DOOM hasn't changed hip-hop.

Not really. He's the biggest artist in the world rn. I'm pretty sure you don't get to be the biggest artist in the world with a fanbase consisting of only 13 year old girls. That would not only be a weak, drawn out argument, but just plain stupidity and a lack of logic in general. Don't believe me? Check the numbers. Artists with fanbases consisting only of 13 year old girls would be artists like the jonas brothers. The jonas brothers haven't broken any records that Drake has.

LOL - unless mf doom is the biological father of all those rappers you mentioned, they would still exist.

Alright, I'm done with you now. You know what I meant, you just can't respond with an actual argument. This shows your complete lack of knowledge of hip-hop to the point where you can't even pinpoint a rapper's influence.

Again, if it wasn't for MF DOOM, those artists likely wouldn't be rapping. Notice how I used their stage names and not their legal names, because I'm not talking about them as people, I'm talking about them as artists.

Again, numbers. You said that Drake's main fanbase was 13 year old girls, I've shown you people who you would least expect to like Drake that like Drake, and guess what, they're not 13 year old girls. Again, if you don't believe that, check the numbers. Unless there are 13 year old girls in zimbabwe listening to mob ties, it doesn't add up.

At least you've admitted that you've lost to yourself and are now proceeding to criticize two artists because they're influential

I've known and respected Pusha-T for months. Don't ever question my knowledge on hip-hop, considering the amount of horrible arguments that you've brought up itt.

Only months lol? Must of only started listening to hip hop this year because pusha t been one of the biggest names in rap this entire decade.

My 2 terabyte iTunes library disagrees with you. I reckon you just started listening to drake this year, especially saying the same old cliche that drake is This generations jay z. Kats been saying that for years, you aren’t some enlightened hip hop fan for thinking that
