    this not really a good album, just like everything he released since nwts u get the handful of gems and overwhelming amount of filler

    Wish more rappers sampled/incorporated bounce/house/juke/etc. into their songs, I love songs like Nice For What, Fade, and Work That p----.

    To be fair i decided to give it another spin and to my surprise i found it worse on second listen

    Might be literally one of the worst albums i listened to in the last decade. Deadass

    This Scorpion king album really doesn't live up to the classic movie. We waited decades for this soundtrack and it's a sleeper. The Rock must be disappointed in this album

    I’m starting to crack Drakes formula, he’s got like 3 different types of songs he makes over and over again

    A. The “lyrical” Drake. The scattered flow. Full of quotables about his life and being introspective. Usually on a boom bap or slower classic beat (ex. Survival, Emotionless, 8 out of 10, Sandra’s Rose, Is There More)

    B. The “hitmaker” Drake. Repetitive, hook centric Drake. Has a tendency to talk tough. The one who charts for weeks on end on the billboard hot 100. (Ex. God’s Plan, I’m Upset, Mob Ties, Can’t Take A Joke, Nice For What)

    C. The “simp” Drake. The emotional sensitive nice guy in his feelings. Drenched in subtle auto tune. Basically 90% of Side B. (Ex. Peak, Jaded, Finesse, That’s How You Feel, Don’t Matter To Me)

    First listen done. Need more time to digest but this is good. Summer Games immediate stand out. Gonna be dancing to it on the subway on my way to the Yankees game tomorrow
