Aug 3, 2015 To tell you the truth having a person as big as Drake who will get you a colossal amount of looks has to outweigh the decision Meek took. Either way this whole thing got them a load of attention
Aug 3, 2015 I'd hardly call him lucky in this situation though. He's been very calculated with his moves and has been 2 steps ahead of Meek from day 1.
Aug 3, 2015 1. I wish this was being streamed by apple music. 2. I wish Drake would've put all this energy on Kendrick
Aug 3, 2015 I think things could've gone differently if meek responded right after charged up. More so than drake being smart it's really just meek being dumb and underestimating him IMO
Aug 3, 2015 Why? It's not like Meek cared prior to hearing the reference track. He clearly liked the song enough to put it on his album. It's probably the most popular song on his album & was even before all this started. He has nothing to complain about.
Aug 3, 2015 Drake's popularity is the driving force behind the perception of this beef, to not acknowledge that is to be ignorant. Meek handling it stupidly helped a lot. I've never had a guest verse of mine ghostwritten and i usually don't get paid for features, I use them as a chance to practice and experiment which is what rappers should do. In Drake's case he should be wanting to write his own s--- a lot more than me because of the level of competition at the top echelon of rap and the culture, while I don't give a f---. everyone should read this: http://www.passionweiss.com/2015/08/03/why-it-matters-that-drake-isnt-writing-his-own-songs/
Aug 3, 2015 no not @rapmusik's corny post, but probably because he has inside info on meek snitching that hes about to air out "who's a real n----- & who aint one"
