Oct 20, 2015 Since this seems to be the official drake stole s--- thread, apparently he jacked Dreams Money Can Buy from G-Eazy when G opened up for him too. He talks about it in the second verse of this track: I don't know if it's been mentioned before but apparently he never paid anything for basically using part of the Cha Cha beat.
Oct 20, 2015 i don't remember which ones they are, but the songs on which miller is credited and the songs for which reference vocals surfaced aren't a perfect venn diagram.
Oct 20, 2015 "Drake stole my beat" "Drake stole my rhymes" "Drake stole my b----" "Drake stole my dance"
Oct 20, 2015 Rico was just a verse though & even Meek went ahead & copied the same flow Miller layed out lol
Oct 21, 2015 Yall are delusional if you didn't know/think Hotline bling was a Cha Cha remix when it first came out. He played it on OVO sound radio and then released a mastered version on Soundcloud. It was clearly "marketed" as a Cha Cha remix initially. Stop reaching.
Oct 21, 2015 You must not be on top of incoming music then. That's not a dig or anything but just when it comes to Drake releases its usually all eyes on it from the get-go. Regardless, yeah the beat is the same (because it's technically a remix) but besides that it literally sounds nothing like it. "I like to cha cha!" and "You used to call me from my cellphone..." are two entirely different hooks lol
Oct 21, 2015 It's not only about this song. His biting accusations are too many to be mere coincidences and tributes or remixes, f--- this guy already.
Oct 21, 2015 Biting what? People talk about Drake biting pretty much like Jay-Z now lol. Ok he had some help on some throwaway songs that happened to get popular because he's Drake. Name a significant rap song from his catalog where he "bites"? Not collaborate, bites.
