Oct 21, 2015 yeah i remember this now. sounds like it was sorted through with his label, though? umg isn't gonna throw caution to the wind lol. either way, he clearly approached it wrong on a personal basis, and (i'm not enough of an audio nerd to say definitively) maybe a creative one.
Oct 21, 2015 Imho, Aphex Twin sounded way too salty. Kanye did the song justice, the only thing he could've complained about was the song's context.. which isn't related to the original (but hey it worked right?).. instead he goes on to cry about the creative direction Kanye took with the sound quality. As we all now, Kanye (as i) can be quite the fan of distorted and low-fi audio samples.
