Why does everyone compare TDE and Dreamville? Cole founded Dreamville and is CEO next to IB, but Kenny didn't found TDE. TDE is run by Punch and Top, while Kenny is their leading artist. Dreamville should be compared more to something like OVO, Shady, or G.O.O.D. Music (collectives that are owned and operated by artists). Whereas TDE is the spawn of something very new, with the essence of Rockafeller, Def Jam or Death Row but with a more independent feel and having developed most of its artists from the infancy of their careers (minus Jay Rock) whereas the aformentioned labels picked up some of their most notable acts later in their careers. Let's compare Dreamville to whatever label Kendrick starts whenever that happens (it won't while he's in his prime) because the root of the comparison is Kendrick versus Cole.

Listen to this tape and then go back to ROTD and Born Sinner and notice how much different Cole sounds in terms of rawness, emotion and hunger in his voice and how much his lyrics are more on point and he doesn't have any filler and off topic lines. Cole is the best rapper alive again, he killed every line he had on this. He's about to drop his greatest project yet, wow I'm not ready.

As for the rest, when this chick Ari came on s--- had me exactly like this

Cozz did his thing, Bas was cool. Tabs is my s--- tho, gave me instant flashbacks to Friday 2 weeks ago when some b---- showed up asking me and the homies if we are going in her direction to split the cab. Turned out she and her friends didn't have s--- and they were looking for someone to pay everything. f--- outta here, b---- doesn't even know to who she was talking to. Outside Cole, best song on here.

This dude Lute is cool, I like the melodic hook but I'm not impressed by his lyrics nor flow. Need to hear more before making a judgement on him.

And this dude Omen actually dropped one of the best songs in his GOAT career cause 48 Laws is dope. Housewives is instant recycle bin material. Only thing I didn't like that much on this is production, cause some of the beats are too simple but it was probably a fun project so I won't look too much into it

Cole hasn't lost any buzz at all after going ghost. It helped him tbh because everything he's doing is refreshing. Since he's out from hiding we got Black Fri, public appearances, HBOspecial announcement, Grammy noms, No Role Modelz still climbing and now ROTD2.

All perfect promotion for him leading up to what ever is in store February

cole is confident. his delivery, flow, cadence, lyrics, everything. fhd is the best thing to ever happen to cole. let's sit back and just watch and appreciate cole as he progressively becomes the rapper we all knew he'd eventually become.
