Dec 8, 2015 my opinions on the project definitely better than the first one, actually sounds like a legit project with a cohesive sound throughout ... definitely shows the progression from everybody plus good showcase of ari lennox and lute who i think are really solid signings and really round out the lineup ... its still only one song from each person and just a lil teaser of whats to come from them but its just executed much better than the first one which seemed like it was just thrown together i really like housewives tbh its actually what i have on repeat right now, and as y'all know i have liked bas since qwrm 2 - but I'm still just trying to think if he's good enough to have a place in the game without dreamville, like if i just heard one of his songs and he wasn't signed if i would say d--- this dudes nice and keep looking and check him up ... but its really impossible to determine that ... i guess as long as he keeps getting better we will just see what happens and we'll see pretty soon with Too High To Riot and then we will also see how much better Cozz has really gotten with Nothing Personal All in all this was definitely a great drop and i think it will do its job setting up the next year for dreamville
Dec 8, 2015 truthfully if Bas Cozz and Lute drop great projects next year who's to say dreamville isn't right there with TDE kendrick and cole cancel out, and obviously schoolboy has become a star in his own right ... but it seems like people have sort of lost interest in ab soul and jay rock, and s---t i completely forgot about my favourite besides kendrick isaiah, he's been ghost as h--- he better drop something in 2016 ... but ye i think u guys get my point ... this is probably the last chance for bas to prove himself as more than just a glorified weed carrier for the rest of his career but if he does who knows ... maybe he has a b-----r on Too High to Riot that really catches on beyond just the dreamville fans

Dec 8, 2015 JB, Jay Rocks album is one of the best this year. TDE and Dreamville are not even close. Dreamville just doesn't have talent of TDE. Maybe with few more signees, but doubt it.

Dec 8, 2015 can't deny my disappointment about no Bitchez (Reprise) tho that track never got the shine it deserved and man i will keep saying it I'm still waiting for a Cole song with a Cozz hook that will become cole's first street b-----r ... i feel cozz really has that in him
Dec 8, 2015 Don't go too far fam. You can easily make case that those 5 in TDE are in the top 10 rappers today. I like Cozz and I think he's the best besides Cole in Dreamville, but he ain't f---ing with no one in TDE. Rock dropped a great album which was received well by everyone and Soulo flopped with These Days, but that don't mean he forgot how to rap or write, he was just trying to do something creative which wasn't executed well. He can still outrap anyone when he wants like he did on Vice City.
Dec 8, 2015 i agree, quality wise, but i mean popularity wise ... TDE didn't really separate themselves this past year as they were supposed to, if anything they regressed ... I was just looking and these days sold 21k first week and jay rock 18k ... so im not saying that reflects quality but I'm just saying TDE didn't prove themselves to be the G-Unit of 2015 where all their artists are stars in their own right ... 20k first week is seen as like a flop and like i said if bas and cozz deliver on their next projects i feel like those numbers are pretty reasonable for them and at this point soul and especially jay rock are what they are, they won't be getting much bigger, whereas with the dreamville artist who knows what the year brings
